If anyone wants more information on pancreatic cancer, pancan.org has a lot of good information, all of which is free. I've already found some of their materials useful.
(from Jana--updated Dec. 2009) My dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March 2009. He passed away on November 28 of the same year. This blog is really only from my perspective, which I'm certain is different from the rest of the loved ones this is directly affecting (my sister writes here sometimes, too). Blogging seems like a good outlet and coping mechanism. Maybe someday I'll write a book about how cancer is the suckiest of suck that affects my life. Because my life was fabulous until then. Really, it was. Now the world has come crashing down and we are here left to pick up the pieces.
(Jana's Disclaimer: I'm going to do my best to make this a family-friendly blog. I'll try not to curse even though you know I'll want to. Also, I make no guarantee about grammar in here...while typically I am quite OCD about it, for this purpose, I couldn't care less. There are WAY more important things in life.)
